About me
My journey started in the world of bits and bytes. After completing my degree in Computer Science Engineering, I stepped into the industry as a frontend programmer. I loved the logic of code, but I quickly realised I was searching for something more human behind the screen.
Engineering to product design
First year of my career, I had the opportunity to work to create an interactive story for children with autism. This wasn't just a technical challenge; it was a masterclass in human connection. I made mistake but it taught me the fundamental importance of accessibility, inclusiveness, and deep empathy. I realised I wasn't just an engineer; I was a person who wanted to sit with people, listen to them, and build solutions that truly moved the needle for their lives.
What I am doing now
Today, I lead the Product Design team for Engineering Data Platforms and the Digital Product Pass initiative at Mercedes-Benz. It is an immense privilege to collaborate with product leaders and users across multiple countries. Whether I’m working on "greenfield" innovations or evolving "brownfield" topics, I build a culture of design-first approach.
Beyond my core role, I am deeply invested in the future of our craft. I am currently experimenting with AI to discover new ways it can enhance the user experience, building custom plugins to bridge gaps in our design workflows, and mentoring junior designers to help the next generation of talent navigate the intersection of engineering and design.
